Consensus

Since Pilgrims beginnings, we have made decisions using a modified Quaker consensus model.  Our by-laws state that “all decisions of the members shall be by consensus of all members attending [a given meeting]”. Our policy has been to announce all major decisions prior to a church meeting, so if a member is not able to be present, she/he can send comments to the meeting.
